Optimizing User Experience with Luxe Quality's Expertise for the Caraleya Mobile App

Caraleya is a lifestyle and utility app designed to create unforgettable moments, amplify connections, and spark joy through thoughtful gestures. It allows users to build and share profiles highlighting their uniqueness and plan dynamic events. 

Caraleya faced early challenges, and there was a critical need for a robust testing process for their complex app on both iOS and Android platforms.

Our QA engineer was tasked with manually testing the mobile app using simulators for this project. One of the main challenges was ensuring the app's compatibility across various device versions and operating systems.

To address this, our QA engineer implemented thorough testing using the Android Studio emulator and the XCode simulator. This approach allowed us to test the app on different versions of devices and operating systems without the need for physical devices. Let us go over some key points about the work on this project.

Although the project is ongoing, the following results have been achieved during the first two months of collaboration:

• 40+ bug reports: Critical and usability bugs identified and resolved.
• Improved UX and usability: Enhancements made based on testing findings and suggestions.
• Critical issues eliminated and prevented: Prevented major issues from affecting end users.
• Pre-release bugs detected: Around 10 were identified and addressed before the most recent release.
• Improved application performance: The user can quickly switch between functionalities, and all the integrated services are optimized, ensuring a seamless and continuous user flow. This optimization allows for a fast and uninterrupted user experience.
• Cost savings: Using the XCode simulator and Android Studio emulator, we tested the app across various device versions and iOS platforms without relying on physical devices or paying for cloud hubs like BrowserStack. This resulted in significant cost savings while maintaining thorough testing coverage.
• The application was successfully released and continues to progress in the market.
